U.S. Prepares For Nuclear “Emergency”

As tensions between Russia and NATO escalate, the Biden administration is making plans for contingencies.

The United States recently ordered $290 million for a radiation treatment known as Nplate. The official reason cited was preparation for nuclear fallout.

Nplate is used to heal damaged blood cells as a result of radiation poisoning and is reportedly safe for children and adults.

We recently saw Poland take similar measures by handing out potassium iodide tablets to EMS personnel and those within closer range of Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.

Fears that the destruction of Nordstream 2 will lead to a larger global nuclear conflict abound and former President Trump has even offered to step in as a peace broker between the two warring nations.

Here are the latest developments:

The Epoch Times provided more facts:

ARS is also referred to as radiation sickness, which reaches internal organs in mere seconds and “occurs when a person’s entire body is exposed to a high dose of penetrating radiation.”

It can result in a difficulty for blood to clot because of low platelet counts, which can lead to uncontrolled bleeding, which is life-threatening.

Nplate helps reduce the radiation-induced bleeding by stimulating the body to produce more platelets.

Western Journal explains that the drug has multiple uses:

Nplate, a drug used in the civilian market to treat patients with thrombocytopenia, a sometimes life-threatening blood disorder that occurs when a patient’s blood platelet count falls below 150,000 per microliter, according to the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute.
