WATCH: Liz Cheney For President In 2024?

Liz Cheney appears to be in deep political trouble.

Polls indicate that the Wyoming Republican is trailing Harriet Hageman by a significant margin and it isn’t helping that she seems to have fallen out of favor with GOP voters.

Cheney has been censured by her own party, with some Republicans drawing up resolutions to declare her ouster from the GOP.

Critics see her position on the January 6th Committee, a highly partisan entity, as treason against not only the Republican establishment but, also, the core values that resonate with the GOP voter base.

Continued attacks on former President Trump, who has become somewhat of a kingmaker in the Republican Party, aren’t helping her image with right-wing voters either.

Pundits point out all these reasons as strong evidence that she will not win her primary election this year. Despite this, Cheney has not yet ruled out a Presidential run in 2024.

During a recent interview with CNN, Cheney told Jake Tapper:

Washington Examiner quotes Cheney:

“At this point, I have not made a decision about 2024. I am really very focused on the substance of what we have to do on the select committee, very focused on the work that I have to do to represent the people of Wyoming, and I’ll make a decision about 2024 down the road,” Cheney said.

Breitbart notes the exact question Tapper posed to Cheney:

Anchor Jake Tapper said, “You’ve made it clear you don’t think Donald Trump shouldn’t be trusted with the presidency again.

Are you willing to run for president to try to stop him? At least in part?”
